Making a Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our shop, and click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into your shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order.
We accept credit card payment, including Switch, Visa and Mastercard. You may also send your credit card information via phone, fax, snail mail or over the Internet. Please do not send credit card details by e-mail.
Alternative ways to Order
If you are unsure about placing an order through our online shop, you are welcome to call us instead. Please call us using the details on our contact us page and we will be happy to assist you.
Alternatively, you can place an order through our online shop and choose 'Pay by cheque '. If you choose this payment option during checkout, please print two copies of your order receipt and return one copy to us with payment using our address (listed on Contact us page)- your order will be posted after we have received payment from you. Postal payments are in United Kingdom currency only.
Product descriptions
At Pinkerton Mirrors we take every reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the Website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered . Although we aim to keep this Website as up to date as possible,we cannot guarantee the information, including Product Descriptions, appearing on this Website is 100% accurate. If there is a problem however we will email you before fully processing the order.
Shipping and Handling
All items on our website include FREE Postage and packing.(UK Mainland)
Delivery Restrictions
Although we offer Free UK shipping(mainland) please note that certain restrictions do apply to the extremities of Scotland, and some areas of Wales. Postcodes DG,KA,PA,KW,PH19-40,PH50,ZE,HS and IV you please contact us before placing the order so we can get a quote for delivery.Please contact us for postage prices to Ireland before ordering as well.
We are happy to post orders to a different address than that of your home address - although we may verify this just before shipping.
All orders are posted using Signed-for delivery.
For security purposes a signature is required to confirm receipt of delivery. If this is not possible, a notice will be left stating that an attempt was made to deliver your goods with a contact number in order for you to arrange another delivery time. Please note added cost may be incurred should another attempt fail.
Delivery Schedule
Please allow 2 days for order processing and up to 28 days for delivery.
Most orders are delivered within 10 to 15 working days.
Our mirrors are extremely well packaged in order to withstand the delivery process. We ask that you inspect your items upon delivery and inform us immediately of any damage or defects, the delivery driver will be happy to wait whilst you inspect the goods. In the event that the goods you receive have been damaged during transit or have any abnormal defects, you must make a note on the delivery sheet that the courier gives you to sign. Failure to do so may mean we will be unable to replce your order. We will endeavour to replace goods (to the exact specification of the original order) damaged in transit at your earliest convenience. Your statutory rights under the current consumer protection laws are not affected.
We do rely on a third party courier service to perform the completion of our 'contract'. We monitor the performance of our courier companies& continuously.
There may be an occasion when due to circumstances entirely beyond our control our goods have not arrived within the projected time frame. Please note we cannot bear responsibility for such circumstances but we will always do our utmost to rectify the situation as quickly as possible.
Returns and Refunds
Returns
In the unlikely event you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase from Pinkerton Mirrors you may return it within 7 days (but please contact us for a returns number ) , you will recieve a full refund minus £22 (to cover our original shipping packing) .
The parcel and its contents are your responsibility until they reach us. We reserve the right to withhold refunds for mirrors damaged in return transit if packaging is deemed to be inadequate. Please carefully wrap return goods using the original packaging. The cost of returning goods is at your expense. Your statutory rights are not affected.
Refunds-if damged or faulty
In the event of faulty or damaged goods must be returned within 7 days of receipt in its original packaging. Please note that you are responsible for the goods and packaging until we receive it. Pinkerton Mirrors withhold the right to refund if the goods are returned damaged due to insufficient packaging. We are happy assist with the arrangement of returned goods where possible.
Orders cancelled within 24 hours of being placed are subject to a 2.5% charge to cover credit card fees.
We aim to respond to all complaints within 1 working day, we will also endeavour to keep you informed throughout the process.
Tax Charges
All quoted prices include VAT where applicable.
Limitation of Liability
This liability section applies only to the extent permitted by law.
Except as set out below, neither Pinkerton Mirrors nor any of their directors, employees or other representatives will be liable for damages arising out of or in connection with the use of this site. Pinkerton mirrors does not accept liability (except as set out below) for any errors or omissions and reserves the right to change information, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services. Pinkerton mirrors does not accept liability for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of data, loss of income or profit, loss of or damage to property and/or loss from claims of third parties arising out of the use of the Pinkerton Mirrors web site or for any products purchased from the Pinkerton Mirrors web site. Pinkerton Mirrors will only be liable for direct loss up to a maximum total of the price of the product purchased in respect of any claim.
Modification of Terms
Pinkerton Mirrors reserves the right to modify these terms at any time without prior notice. Any modification of these terms will be deemed to be effective from the date and time of posting on the Pinkerton Mirrors .co.uk site. These terms and conditions will apply to your order once you have received your confirmation email. They will supersede any other terms and conditions in whatever form given. Please print and retain a copy of the terms and conditions once you have received your confirmation email.
